This hot-dip galvanized lightning diverter reduces the threat of lightning damage to an energizer. The coil acts as electromagnetic choke to force lightning to jump a gap and flow to ground. For larger areas, Lightning Diverters can also be located around the perimeter of the fence as added attractants in the event of a lightning strike.
